GFORCE Policies

At GFORCE, our priority is safety, respect, development, and culture.

These policies exist to protect our athletes, families, coaches, and the wider community.
By training at GFORCE, all members and parents agree to follow the standards outlined below.

General Gym Conduct
  • All members, parents, and visitors are expected to treat coaches, staff, athletes, and families with respect at all times.

  • Bullying, gossip, intimidation, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • When representing GFORCE at competitions, events, or online, individuals must act respectfully and uphold the values, standards, and reputation of the club.

Hygiene & Personal Standards
  • Clean Gi / No-Gi attire: All athletes must train in clean, well-maintained uniforms for every session.

  • Fingernails and toenails must be trimmed before training to prevent injury.

  • Personal hygiene: Athletes must maintain good personal hygiene, including regular showering and use of deodorant.

  • Training while sick is not permitted, including flu, fever, stomach illness, or contagious conditions.

  • Any skin infections or concerns must be reported to a coach immediately and managed in accordance with GFORCE infection protocols.

Child Protection & Safeguarding
  • Clear coach-to-student boundaries are maintained at all times to ensure a safe and professional training environment.

  • Private messaging or direct contact between minors and non-guardian adults is not permitted outside approved group or parent-inclusive channels.

  • Appropriate supervision standards are enforced during all classes, events, and activities involving minors.

  • Photography and media involving minors is strictly controlled and requires GFORCE approval and consent in line with club policy.

Parent Code of Conduct (VERY IMPORTANT)
  • Parents must not approach coaches during class time. Coaches must remain focused on athlete safety and instruction.

  • Sideline coaching is not permitted during training sessions, competitions, or events.

  • Comparing children to other athletes, either privately or publicly, is not acceptable.

  • Grading decisions, team selections, and social media features are not to be questioned publicly or discussed with other families.

  • All concerns must be raised through the proper communication channels and addressed privately with GFORCE administration.

Photo & Video Policy
  • Guests and members are not permitted to take photos or videos without prior approval.

  • All photo and video recording is restricted to GFORCE staff and management only.

  • Any unauthorised recording must stop immediately if requested by staff.

  • Live streaming by guests or members is not permitted.

  • GFORCE reserves the right to request the deletion of any unauthorised media.

  • Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises or further disciplinary action.

Communication & Complaints Procedure
  • Who to contact: All concerns must be directed to GFORCE administration or the designated point of contact.

  • How concerns are raised: Concerns must be submitted privately and respectfully, in writing or via official communication channels only.

  • Cooling-off period: A cooling-off period may be required before a concern is reviewed to allow emotions to settle and facts to be clarified.

  • Zero tolerance for gossip: Gossip, public discussion, or third-party complaints are not accepted and will not be addressed.

Competition Behaviour
  • Athletes are expected to demonstrate discipline, respect, and sportsmanship at all times during competitions.

  • Parents and spectators must display respectful behaviour, including toward coaches, officials, other teams, and families.

  • Win and loss conduct: Athletes and parents must handle both victory and defeat with humility and respect, without confrontation or public complaints.

  • Referees and officials must be treated with respect at all times; decisions are final and must not be argued publicly.

Social Media & Public Representation
  • Posting guidelines: All social media activity involving GFORCE, its athletes, coaches, or events must be respectful and appropriate.
  • When Tagging or referencing GFORCE, content must reflect positively on the club and its values.
  • Collaboration posts involving GFORCE may only be made where professional media and appropriate content are used.
  • Public criticism, negative commentary, or online disputes involving coaches, athletes, or club decisions are not permitted.
Discipline & Consequences
  • Minor breaches may result in a verbal or written warning at the discretion of GFORCE management.

  • Repeated or serious breaches may result in temporary suspension from training, events, or competitions.

  • Serious misconduct or continued non-compliance may lead to termination of membership without refund.

  • GFORCE reserves the right to immediately remove any individual from the premises or events where behaviour poses a risk to safety, wellbeing, or club reputation.

Membership, Attendance & Commitment
  • Trial periods are intended to assess suitability and commitment. Ongoing attendance is expected during this period.

  • Members are expected to demonstrate consistent attendance in line with their training level and goals.

  • Members and parents must respect class schedules, arrive on time, and attend the appropriate classes as directed by coaches.

  • Leaving class early is not permitted unless prior approval is given by a coach or due to medical or emergency reasons.
