When will I be graded?
We carefully monitor each student’s attendance, progress, and dedication. Students must also meet the minimum requirements outlined further down this page. We will grade students when we feel they're ready.
How will I be graded?
We reward students with surprise gradings when they least expect it — once we’ve carefully monitored their performance, progress, and skills.
Can I be graded on the podium?
Yes! Students who compete regularly may be graded on the competition podium to amplify their success, celebrate their achievements, and create a truly memorable moment of joy.
Is GFORCE inline with an "official body"
Yes! We are officially registered and certified under the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF).

White | 12 months + 200 classes |
Blue | 24 months + 200 classes |
Purple | 18 months + 200 classes |
Brown | 12 months + 200 classes |
Black | Must be held until age 50 |
Red/Black | Must be held until age 57 |
Red/White | Must be held until age 67 |
